                        Forrest Eastman

OSAGE, IOWA--Forrest Eastman, age 87, of Osage, died Monday, Feb. 10,
1997, at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13th, at the Champion
Funeral Home, Osage, with the Rev. Clark Christian officiating. Burial
was in Riverside Cemetery, Riceville, Iowa.

Forrest Eastman was born July 21, 1909, at McIntire, Iowa.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Engebretson of Osage, and Kay
Hernan of St. Ansgar; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one sister.
