                        Dorothy E. Haugen

OSAGE, IOWA--Dorothy E. Haugen, 81, of Osage, died Monday, March 31,
1997, in an auto accident at Raymond.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 4th, at Our Savior's
Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dennis Hanson and the Rev. Roy Ott
officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery, rural Osage.

The Champion Funeral Home, 702 State Street, Osage, is in charge of
arrangements.

Dorothy E. Haugen was born June 20, 1915, in Floyd County, Iowa.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice Larson of Manassas, Va., and
Marilyn Haugen of Arlington, Va.; three sons, David Haugen of Cheney,
Wash.; James Haugen of Mesa, Ariz., and Bruce Haugen of Owatonna, Minn.;
13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
