OBITUARY: Geneva Kozak, 1916-1997, Mitchell County, Iowa

                          Geneva Kozak

OSAGE, IOWA--Geneva Kozak, 80, of Osage, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1997, at
the Mitchell County Regional Health Center.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church,
Osage, with the Rev. Dennis Hanson and the Rev. Roy Ott officiating.

Burial will be in the Osage City Cemetery.

Visitation will on Friday at the Champion Funeral Home.

Geneva Kozak was born July 29, 1916, at Castalia.

Survivors include one daughter, Jean Matthews of Phoenix, Ariz.; three
sons, Duane Brockney of Osage, Dale Brockney of Charles City and Kenneth
Kozak of Stacyville; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one daughter,
and one sister.
