OBITUARY: Mae M. Lugg, 1918-1996, Mitchell County, Iowa [From Mason City Globe Gazette, Mason City, Iowa, Nov. 20, 1996 (edited)] Mae M. Lugg OSAGE, IOWA--Mae M. Lugg, 78, died Sunday (Nov. 17, 1996) at Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cedar Falls. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dennis Hanson and the Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage. Mae was born March 8, 1918, to Henry and Lillie (Bagstad) Olswold at Lyle, Minn. She was baptized and confirmed at the Lyle Lutheran Church by the Rev. Langhough. Mae attended the Minnereka school at Lyle. On April 20, 1940, Mae was united in marriage to Arthur Lugg by the Rev. T.P. Solem in Osage. Arthur died Feb. 3, 1983. Mae was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Survivors include one daughter, Marvis Kleckner and her husband, Richard, of Fountain Valley, Calif.; two sons, Keith Lugg and his wife, Mary, of Casper, Wyo., and Glenn Lugg and his wife, RuthAnne, of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Clarence Olswold and his wife, Clarice, of Williamsburg.
