                         Peter Edward Marzen

OSAGE, IOWA--Peter Edward Marzen, 92, died Saturday, July 6, 1996, as the
result of a traffic accident near Rudd.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 9, at Visitation Catholic
Church in Stacyville, Iowa, with the Rev. Dennis Cahill officiating.

Burial will be in Visitation Cemetery.

Peter Marzen was born March 24, 1904 near Marble Rock.

Survivors include five daughters, Zita Marzen of Stacyville, Colette
Gallagher of Minneapolis, Lucy O'Brien of Charles City, Monica Anderson
of Marysville, Mo., and Bridgid Kern of Minneapolis, Minn; three sons,
Peter A. Marzen of Mason City, Tim Marzen of Stacyville, and Joe Marzen
of Stacyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, two brothers, and six
sisters.
