                           Roy R. Miller Sr.

OSAGE, IOWA--Roy R. Miller Sr., 81, of Osage, died Friday, June 13, 1997,
at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 16, at the Champion Funeral
Home with the Rev. Dennis Hanson officiating. Burial will be in the Osage
Cemetery, with military rites by Osage American Legion Post 278.

He was born May 25, 1916, in Osage.

Survivors include one son, Roy Miller Jr. of Osage; three sisters, Helen
Willey of Minneapolis, Minn.; Perna Virchow, Minneapolis, Minn., and Cleo
Mitchell of Osage; two brothers, Willard Bill Miller of Dresden,
Tenn., and Oral Dean Miller of Casper, Wyo.; three grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one great-granddaughter.
