OBITUARY: Nora Dobler Muller, 1892-1965, Mitchell County, Iowa Nora Dobler Muller Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran church in Osage for Mrs. Nora Muller, 73, who died Saturday at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in St. Ansgar. Mrs. Muller had been transferred from Mitchell County Memorial Hospital six weeks ago. The Rev. Edward Lang, church pastor, was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Rudd cemetery. Nora Elizabeth Dobler was born March 8, 1892, at Bassett. She was the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Fred Dobler. She moved to Osage at an early age, attended school and grew to womanhood there. She was united in marriage to Otto C. Muller October 13, 1908, and lived on a farm south of Rudd. They moved to Park Rapids, Minn., and remained in northern Minnesota until 1956, when they moved to a home on the Mervin Muller farm east of Orchard. They lived here until Mr. Muller’s death, June 22, 1959. Since then Mrs. Muller has lived in the Ralph Hilsman and Mervin Muller homes. Six weeks ago she was confined to Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto, her parents, two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Evelyn) Hilsman of Rudd and Mrs. Willard (Bernice) DeVries of Hayward, Calif.; four sons, Ralph of Cass Lake, Minn., Forrest of Nora Springs, Mervin (Bob) of Orchard, and Lawrence of Raymond, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Etta Parker of Manchester, 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
