OBITUARY: Helen Marie Pell, 1920-1997, Mitchell County, Iowa

                           Helen Marie Pell

OSAGE, IOWA--Helen Marie Pell, 76, of Osage, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 1997,
at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Champion Funeral Home,
with the Rev. Jerry Newland officiating. Burial will be in the Bohemian
Cemetery, Myrtle, Minn.

Helen Marie Pell was born Jan. 24, 1920, in Oelwein, Iowa.

Survivors include one son, Richard Pell, Nora Springs; three daughters:
Patricia Williams of Eucha, Okla.; Ardith Heins, Cedar Falls, and Mary
Lou Smith, Waterloo; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
