                        Josephine H. Ruechel

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA--Josephine H. Ruechel, 93, of St. Ansgar, died Wednesday
(Sept. 4, 1996) at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran
Church, with the Rev. Chris F. Gugel officiating.

Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Schroeder and Sites
Funeral Home, St. Ansgar.

Josephine H. Ruechel was born April 22, 1903, in Newburg Township,
Mitchell County.

Survivors include two daughters, Lorraine Koster of St. Ansgar, and
Marlene Yost of LeRoy, Minn.; one sister, Roselyn Trudeau, of Mason
City; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-
grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, and one
granddaughter.
