OBITUARY: Opal E. Schoenborn, 1896-1997, Mitchell County, Iowa

                          Opal E. Schoenborn

OSAGE, IOWA--Opal E. Schoenborn, 100, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 1997, at
the Faith Home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
with the Rev. Dennis Cahill officiating.  Burial will be in St. Peter's
Cemetery, New Haven.

The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.

Opal E. Schoenborn was born Dec. 2, 1896 in Sibley.

Survivors include one daughter, Irma Eubanks of Chicago, Ill.; one son,
Donald Schoenborn of Osage; one sister, Dolores Gray of Kenora, Ontario,
Canada; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, four
brothers, and one granddaughter.
