                       Charles T. Thompson

OSAGE, IOWA--Charles T. Thompson, 78, of Osage, died Monday, June 24,
1997, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28, 1997, at the First United
Methodist Church , with the Rev. Robert Barrick officiating. Burial will
be in the Story City Cemetery.

Charles T. Thompson was born April 4, 1919, in Kidder, Missouri.

Survivors include one wife, Mildred Thompson, Osage; two daughters, Patricia
Maas of Kenosha, Wis., and Linda Thompson, Mason City; one son, Steven
Thompson, Osage; one sister, Ramona Dutro, Gallatin, Mo.; and eight
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant son, three brothers and
one sister.

The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.
