OSAGE, IOWA--Roy C. Wilde, 85, of Osage, died Friday (Sept. 20, 1996) at
Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church,
Rock Township, with the Rev. Rose Marie Lewis officiating.

Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Roy C. Wilde was born May 16, 1911 in Rock Township, Mitchell County.

Survivors include his wife, Rose of Osage; two daughters, Arliene
Kuntz of Osage, and Rosemary Wilde of Mason City; one son,  Melvin
Wilde of Osage; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three
sisters, Alice Kuntz of St. Ansgar, Wilma Hackbart of Grafton,
and Vianora Feldt of Osage; and one brother, Irvin Wilde of Osage.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant siblings; and three
brothers.

The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.
