                          Allie Marie Young

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA--Allie Marie Young, 88, of St. Ansgar, died Saturday
(March 8, 1997) at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran
Church, with the Rev. Edward Schmidt officiating.

Burial will be in St. Ansgar City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Schroeder and Sites
Funeral Home.

Allie Marie Young was born Sept. 18, 1908, near Goldfield.

Survivors include two daughters, Alice McNaney, Norfolk, Va., and Arlene
Demaray, Waucoma; one son, Harold Young, Montgomery, Minn.; seven
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son and one
great-granddaughter.
