                           Mildred L. Young

OSAGE, IOWA--Mildred L. Young, 74, of Osage died Monday, May 12, (1997)
at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 14th, at St. John's Lutheran
Church south of Osage, with the Rev. Chris F. Gugel and Vicar Steven
Barker officiating. Cremation will take place following services.

Inurnment will be at Little Cedar Cemetery.

Mildred L. Young was born Nov. 6, 1922 on the family farm near St. Ansgar,
Iowa.

Survivors include her husband, Marion Young of Osage; two sons, Robert
Young of Osage and John Young of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; six grandchildren;
and eight great-grandchildren.

The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, was in charge of arrangements.
