                         Kenneth W. Zuehl

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA--Kenneth W. Zuehl, 84, of St. Ansgar, and formerly of
Toeterville, died Wednesday (March 26, 1997) at the Good Samaritan Center
in St. Ansgar.   Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at
St. Peter Lutheran Church, Toeterville, with the Rev. David Palm officiating.

Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery, Toeterville.

Kenneth was born Sept. 16, 1912, in Hancock County near Britt.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Zuehl, St. Ansgar; one daughter,
Harriet Schulz of St. Ansgar; three sons, Kenneth Dean Zuehl of St.
Ansgar; Roger Zuehl of Racine, Wis., and Verle Zuehl of Northbridge,
Mass.; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, one sister,
two brothers and two great-grandchildren.

The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.
