                            Jessie Vonnee Allen

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA-- Jessie Vonnee Allen, age 94, died Friday (Nov. 14, 1997)
at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at the St. Ansgar United Methodist
Church, with the Rev. Ted Stowers officiating. Burial will be in the
St. Ansgar Cemetery.

The Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, is in charge of
arrangements.

Jessie Vonnee Allen was born Aug. 19, 1903, in Summerfield, Kansas.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Hinman of St. Ansgar; one step-son,
Junior Allen of Sheffield; two sisters, Alberta Moore of Hansell, and Miriam
Griner of Dumont.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and two sisters.
