OBITUARY: Joseph Brachie, 1831-1903, Mitchell County, Iowa




                             Joseph Brachie

Joseph Brachie was born in Prussia, November 11, 1831, and died May 26,
1903 in Burr Oak after a short illness.

He came to this country in 1857, and lived in Chicago twenty-five years.
In 1892 he came to Mitchell county, where he was since lived.

Besides his wife he leaves six children to mourn his death: Charles, of
Burr Oak; Mrs. Mary Sholds of Princeton, Illinois; Lizzie, Kate, Maggie,
Peter, and one grandchild, little Louisa Skolds.

The funeral took place on Wednesday morning, from the Catholic church at
Osage.   May his soul rest in peace.
