OBITUARY: Grace Decker, 1903-1997, Mitchell County, Iowa

                           Grace Decker

TOETERVILLE, IOWA-- Grace Decker, 94, of St. Ansgar, formerly of
Toeterville, died Monday, Oct. 6, 1997, at the Good Samaritan Center,
St. Ansgar.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church
in Toeterville with the Rev.  David Palm officiating. Burial will be
in Union Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Stacyville, Iowa.

Grace Decker was born Oct. 2, 1903, in Osage. Survivors include one 
daughter, Mary D. Gannett of University Park, Md.; two sons, Darrell
Decker of San Diego, Calif., and Lester  Decker of Osage; one brother, 
Kenneth St. Charles of Bella  Vista, Ark.; seven grandchildren; 14
great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death  by her parents, husband and one brother.

The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.
