OBITUARY: Shirley Ann DeVore, 1941-1997, Mitchell County, Iowa

                           Shirley Ann DeVore

OSAGE, IOWA-- Shirley Ann DeVore, age 56, of Dothan, Alabama, and formerly
of Osage, died Wednesday Nov. 19, (1997) at Southeast Alabama Medical
Center in Dothan, of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
Osage, with Father Philip Recker officiating. Burial will be in Sacred
Heart Cemetery. 

Shirley was born Feb. 15, 1941, at Osage, the daughter of Andrew and Leona
(Mandler) Schwab. She attended Osage schools and graduated from Osage High
School in 1959. 

Survivors include her husband, Larry Gene DeVore of Dothan, Alabama; one
son, Daniel Lee DeVore and his wife, Traci Lynn, of Dothan, Ala.; one
granddaughter, Desiree' Ann DeVore of Dothan; and her mother. . . .

She was preceded in death by her father.
