                         Gladys V. Eagen

OSAGE, IOWA-- Gladys V. Eagen, 77, of Osage, died Wednesday, August 20,
[1997], at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, at the Sacred Heart
Catholic Church in Osage, with the Rev. Philip Recker officiating. Burial
will be in the St. Peter's Cemetery, New Haven, Iowa.

The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.

Gladys V. Eagen was born Sept. 22, 1919, near New Haven.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Eagen of New Haven, and Keith Eagen,
Osage; one daughter, Mary Ann Sharron, Grubville, Missouri; eight
grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Edwin Hein of
Osage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two infant
granddaughters.
