OBITUARY: Alice [Richardson] Engebretson, 1902-1982, Mitchell County, Iowa




                          Alice Engebretson

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Champion Funeral
Home in Osage for Alice Engebretson who died Tuesday, Sept. 14, at a
nursing home here.  Rev. Jim Pittman of the United Methodist Church
officiated at the service.  Burial was in the Osage cemetery.

Alice was born July 3, 1902, in rural Osage, and lived her entire life
in the Osage Community.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward and her parents.

She is survived by two sons, Charles of Osage and Merlin of Chicago, four
daughters, Mrs. Garland (Edith) Dolson of Chicago, Mrs. Fred (Edna) Weiland
Jr. of New Haven, Mrs. Walter (Mary) Martin of Dakota City and Joan of Osage.
Also 12 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
