OBITUARY: Elmer Halvorson, c1893-1964, Mitchell Co., Iowa




                           ELMER HALVORSON

St. Ansgar, Iowa - Elmer L. Halvorson, 71, died Friday (July 3, 1964) at
the Wells Minn. hospital.  Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 .p.m. at
First Lutheran Church here.

Burial will be in First Lutheran Cemetery with Schroeder & Houg Funeral
Home in charge.

Surviving are his wife, Florence, a daughter, Mrs John (Joan) Evans,
Houston Tex; a son  Maj. John Halvorson, in service in Viet Nam; five 
grandchildren, two sisters, Clara Halvorson, St. Ansgar; Mrs Lorence
Spender, Boonton N. J.; a brother, Irving St. Ansgar.
