OBITUARY: Lillian Lulu (Puls) Hass, 1918-2005, Mitchell County, Iowa




                             Lillian Lulu Hass

A private family service for Lillian Lulu Hass, 86, of Riceville, Iowa,
was be held, with the Reverend Michael Carey officiating.  Burial was in
Riverside Cemetery, Riceville, Iowa. Lillian passed away at the Riceville
Community Rest Home on Wednesday, March 23, 2005.

Lillian Hass was born in Spring Creek Township in Tama County, Iowa, to
Herbert and Linda (Michelsen) Puls on December 14, 1918. On September 3,
1941 she was united in marriage to Newall Wilmer Hass in Waterloo, Iowa.

They farmed in Tama County until 1953. Newall and Lillian then moved to
Howard County, Iowa.   Newall passed away on July 26, 1983, and she moved
in to Riceville. Lillian moved to the Evergreen Apartments in Osage in 2001,
and entered the Riceville Community Rest Home in 2002,

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Newall in 1983,
one sister, Helen Plaehn and one brother, Loren Puls.

Her survivors include one nephew Jerry Plaehn and a niece Diane Olson and
their families.

The Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville, Iowa was charge of arrangements.
