OBITUARY: Ingvald Johnson, 1906-1970, Mitchell County, Iowa Ingvald Johnson Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, at 2 o'clock for Ingvald Johnson, 64, of Osage, who died early Tuesday at Mitchell County Memorial hospital. Mr. Johnson was a victim of cancer and had been ill four years. The Rev. I.G. Kitzmann of Osage will be in charge of the services at Trinity Lutheran church in the absence of the Rev. Edward Lang. Arrangements are being made by C.R. Champion and Sons, and burial will be in the Osage cemetery. Ingvald Bernard Johnson was born May 1, 1906, in Rock township, the son of John and Clara Schoger Johnson. He attended the Rock township rural schools. Wilma Irene Troge and Ingvald Johnson were united in marriage June 28, 1933. He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Wilma; two daughters, Mrs. John Swan (Delores) of Glenwood, Ill., Mrs. Pericles Giannopoulos (Nadine) of Mirriam, Kan.; one grandson and one brother, Arthur Johnson of Osage.
