                          Aloysius P. Koenigs

Funeral services for Aloysius P. Koenigs, 91 of Stacyville, Iowa, were held
Monday, July 11, 2005 at Visitation Catholic Church, Stacyville, Iowa. The
Reverend Mark Reasoner officiated.

Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meyer, Iowa.  Koenigs died July 7,
2005 at his home in Stacyville.

Aloysius was born to Chrysandt and Anna (Schueller) Koenigs on June 10, 1914
at Meyer, Iowa.

He married Olive Helen Blake on June 14, 1938, with whom he celebrated 63
years of marriage. Aloysius farmed his entire life.

Aloysius was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son and three
daughters who died in infancy, one grandson, three sisters and six brothers.

His survivors are his three sons Kenny (Veronica), Bob (Karen) and Steve
(Lori) all of Stacyville; three daughters, Betty Ann (Ken) Menke of Polo,
Missouri, Sr. Mary Jane Koenigs of Sioux City, Iowa, and Pat (Tom) Weishaar
of Fort Dodge, Iowa; 11 grandsons, four granddaughters, two step-
granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, Iowa, was in charge of the
arrangements.
