OBITUARY: Arthur Gustav Kollman, 1906-1945, Mitchell County, Iowa Arthur Gustav Kollman Funeral services for Arthur Kollman, 38, who died Sunday evening, were conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the residence, and at 3:45 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage. The Rev. Elmer Yohr officiated and burial was in the Rudd cemetery. Arthur Gustav Kollman, the son of Gustave and Adolpha Muller Kollman, was born on September 5, 1906 at Rudd, Iowa. In 1907 when Arthur Kollman was a year old, his father died, leaving a mother with four children. In the year 1930 this family moved to Osage, where the mother still resides. In Osage, Arthur Kollman at once began his work as a gravel and lime- operating contractor, being in partnership with his brother Edward. He was married on October 14, 1939 to Miss Elsie Bock. Their home was Osage for the greater part of their married life. During the last two years his health had been impaired, but he had been able to work. Saturday he was taken ill and Sunday died at his home in Osage from a cerebral hemorrhage. His survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Elsie Kollman; his mother, Mrs. Adolpha Kollman, both of Osage; two brothers, Edward Kollman of Osage, and Fred Kollman of Sumner, IA; and a sister, Mrs. Laura Ellingson of Osage.
