OBITUARY: Myrtle Kussatz, 1914-1997, Mitchell County, Iowa

                            Myrtle Kussatz

OSAGE, IOWA-- Myrtle Kussatz, age 83, of Osage, died on Monday, Oct. 20,
1997, at the Osage Rehabiliation and Health Care Center. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Trinity Lutheran
Church, with the Rev. Chris Gugel officiating. Burial will be in the
Osage Cemetery.

Myrtle Kussatz was born June 7, 1914, at Waterloo.

Survivors include one daughter, LaRae Carolan, Elkader; one son, Joe
Kussatz, Davenport; twin sister, Myrle Frerichs, Osage; eight grandchildren;
and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.

The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.
