OBITUARY: Earl Luther, c1918-1966, Mitchell County, Iowa




                               EARL LUTHER

St. Ansgar - Funeral services for Earl Luther, 47, were held at the St.
Ansgar Methodist Church.  Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery with
Schroeder and Houg in charge.

Mr. Luther died Thursday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.  He
lived in this community most of his life, working at farming.  The past
several years he had been disabled.

Preceding him in death were his father and a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Donna)
Hutzell in 1962.

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn, two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Shirley) Boerjan,
Mrs. Ronald (Betty Severson), St. Ansgar, and four sons: Larry, Dennis,
Roger and Gary, at home; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Luther, St. Ansgar; two
brothers, Darrell, Rockford, Ill., and Herbert, San Francisco, a sister,
Mrs. Andy Majewski, Plymouth, and five grandchildren.
