                           Alfred T. Olson

OSAGE, IOWA-- Alfred T. Olson, 87, of Osage, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 1997,
at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, at the Champion
Funeral Home, Osage, with the Rev. Robert Melhorn officiating. Burial will
be in the Osage Cemetery.

Alfred T. Olson was born Feb. 6, 1910, near Meroa in Mitchell County.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Bighley, of Lenexa, Kansas, and
Patricia Schulz, Taft, California; two grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, one granddaughter,
five brothers and four sisters.
