OBITUARY: Justin Royal Ones, 1921-2005, Mitchell County, Iowa Justin Ones Funeral services for Justin Royal Ones, age 83, of Osage, Iowa, were held Monday, April 4, 2005, at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Osage, with Rev. R. Dawson Tornes officiating. Burial was in the Rock Creek Cemetery. Justin died Thursday, March 31, 2005, at the Mitchell Country Regional Health Center-Hospice Unit in Osage. Justin Royal Ones was born to Iver John Ones and Rhoda Olive (Fods) Ones on November 16, 1921, in Rock Township, Mitchell County, Iowa. He was baptized February 14, 1922, by Pastor O.C. Myhre of Rock Creek Lutheran Church. He was instructed in the Lutheran faith by Pastor O.C. Myhre of Rock Creek Lutheran Church and confirmed on May 31, 1936, where he was a lifetime member. He received his elementary education at Rock No. 7, rural school, Rock Township. On November 20, 1949, he was united in marriage with Clara Kroneman, of rural Grafton, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rock Township. They were married for 55 years. They were blessed with two sons, Jerry and Laird. He served in various organizations of the church and was a 4-H leader for many years. Justin was a farmer and also worked as a carpenter for Andrew Gemaelich for nine years and for Olsen Implement for 17 years. They continued living on the family farm where he was born. After retiring, he and Clara worked on many woodworking projects. They also enjoyed going to dances. In June of 1992, they moved to Osage. Justin was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, twin brother John Ones, and Fods Ones; and two sisters, Janette Tebben and Esther McClellan. Survivors include his wife Clara of Osage; two sons, Jerry Ones of Frederic, Wisc., and Laird Ones of Osage; three grandchildren, Angie Ones and friend Dan Mortenson of Frederic, Wisc., Jessica and husband Ryan Tollander of Siren, Wisc., and Jeremy Ones and wife Renee of Frederic, Wisc.; five great-grandchildren, Jaryd and Jori Braden, Macy and Morgan Tollander, and Benjamin Justin Ones; two sisters, Truly Flaaten of Kensett and Winnie Ones of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Birchard Ones of Pueblo, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Garda Ones of Mason City; a brother-in-law, Ezra Tebben of Edwardsville, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
