OBITUARY: Marion Edna (Rollins) Feldt, 1909-2005, Mitchell County, Iowa Marion Edna Rollins Feldt Memorial services for Marion Edna Rollins Feldt, age 96, of Osage, Iowa, were held on Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage with the Rev. Lance Kittleson of Deer Creek Lutheran Church and Rev. Roy Ott of Our Savior's Lutheran Church officiating. Inurnment will be at the Carpenter Cemetery. Marion died Friday, March 25, 2005, at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. Marion was born to Fred and Helen Rollins, January 31, 1909. She grew up in Waterloo and graduated from West Waterloo High School. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Feldt, February 19, 1927 in Waverly, Iowa. They lived in Waterloo until 1935, when they moved to Mitchell County and operated a grocery store in Carpenter, Iowa for several years. Following her husbands death in 1960, Marion was employed at the Farmer's National Bank in Lyle, Minnesota until her retirement in 1981. She later moved to the Cedars Apartments in Austin, Minn. for several years and in 1998 she moved to the Evergreen Apartments in Osage. She moved to the Faith Home following a short illness in 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence and a sister Maxine Renk. Marion is survived by her daughter Shirley Funk and her husband Lavern of Osage; four grandsons, Steve (Elizabeth) Funk of San Francisco, Calif., Tracy (Peggy) Funk of Osage, Todd (Heather) Funk of Winona, Minn., and Spencer (Cindy) Funk of Onalaska, Wisc.; granddaughter-in-law, Paige Amsler of Wayzata, Minn.; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and special friend Sara Ritter of St. Ansgar.
