OBITUARY: B.F. Schnell, ?-1888, Mitchell County, Iowa




                         Death of B. F. Schnell

Mr. B. F. Schnell who was well known to all old settlers of Osage, died at
Ephitah, New York, in November.  Mr. Schnell was at one time, in an early
day, the teacher of the Osage school.  He was a partner of Mr. Wm. Woods,
now of Woods & Hastings, in the firm of Woods & Schnell in the drug business.
Later he was in partnership with D. Mandigo. He was a prominent and respected
citizen of Osage, and was a leading member of the community from which he
has recently taken his earthly departure.
