OBITUARY: Dean Earl Shoars, 1920-2005, Mitchell County, Iowa

                          Dean Earl Shoars

A gathering of family and friends was held for Dean Earl Shoars, age 84,
of Osage, Iowa, on Monday, January 17, 2005 at the Champion-Bucheit
Funeral Home in Osage. Inurnment will take place at a later date. 

Dean died Saturday January 15, 2005, at Mitchell County Regional Health
Center in Osage. He was born February 9, 1920, in Osage, Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his son Smith.

He is survived by his wife Helen, six children Meri, Dean, Mark, Scott
(Tim), Ruth, and Eric, 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and
Larry Newhouse.

The Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home (641-732-3706) is in charge of the
arrangements.
