                           Roger E. Stohr

St. ANSGAR, IOWA-- Roger E. Stohr, 68, died Saturday, August 16, 1997, at
Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with
the Rev. Edward Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran
Cemetery, rural St. Ansgar.

The Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, is in charge of
arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon of St. Ansgar; and three brothers,
William of Nashua, Glenn of Charles City, and Curtis of Novada, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
