OBITUARY: Louise Evangeline (Stumo) Pederson, 1901-1977, Mitchell County, Iowa




                       Louise Evangeline Stumo Pederson

         (St. Ansgar Enterprise, St. Ansgar, Iowa; Jan. 13, 1977)

Funeral services for Mrs. Carl Pederson, 75, who died December 26, 1977, at
the Mitchell County Memorial hospital, were held December 28 at Our Savior's
Lutheran church in Lyle and at Elk Creek Lutheran church in Kensett, with
the Rev. Harold Luecke officiating at both services.

Louise Evangeline Pederson, daughter of Nels and Carrie (Nelson) Stumo, was
born October 22, 1901 at Kensett.  She attended high school at Northwood
and graduated from St. Olaf School of Nursing in Austin, Minn. In 1924.

She was united in marriage to Carl O. Pederson August 19, 1928 at the Elk
Creek church at Kensett.  Mrs. Pederson was a registered nurse at St. Olaf
Hospital in Austin for 15 years, and following that was employed in various
nursing duties . . . .
