OBITUARY: Robert Eugene Weber, 1932-1997, Mitchell County, Iowa

                          Robert Eugene Weber

OSAGE, IOWA-- Robert Eugene Weber, age 65, of Osage, died Wednesday, Dec.
10, 1997, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. He was
in the comforting and loving arms of his wife and six children.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Osage,
with the Rev. Jerry Newland officiating. Burial will be in the Osage
Cemetery.

He was born Feb. 15, 1932, in Nashua, Iowa, the son of William and Ella
(Schultz) Weber. He grew up and attended schools in the New Haven area.

He married Kira Loden on Dec. 10, 1955, in Osage. He was employed by the
Osage Municipal Utilities, retiring in 1994.  He was a member of the
American Legion and AA in Osage.

He is survived by his wife, Kira, Osage; mother, Ella Weber, Mason City;
six children, Donna and David Hanna, and their children, Adam and Dawn,
Owatonna, Minn.; Kenneth Weber and his children, Heath. . . .

He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, and one sister.
