                             Final Rites for
                     Alfred Anderson Held Thursday   

Funeral services for Alfred Anderson, 49, who died at a Waterloo hospital
Sunday morning were held Tuesday at the Champion funeral home with the
Rev. G. J. Kupke officiating and at the Lutheran church in Jerico with
the Rev. Milton Otto officiating. Burial was in the Jerico cemetery.

Mr. Anderson was born in Chickasaw county and moved to Riceville in 1936
and to Nora Springs in 1942.

Survivors include five sisters: Anna and Mae Anderson of Nora Springs,
Mrs. Peter Romed of New Hampton, Mrs. Louis Douglas of Jerico and Mrs.
Lou Betts of Waterloo; and three brothers, Ole, Leonard, and John, all
of Waterloo.
