OBITUARY: Kelly (Eastman) Carson, 1959-2000, Mitchell County, Iowa




                              Kelly Carson

Kelly Carson, 40, formerly of McIntire, passed away on March 15, at the
Muse Norris Inpatient Unit in Mason City after an extended illness.

Kelly was born on May 28, 1959 to Willard and Evelyn Erickson Eastman in
Riceville, Iowa. She attended local school and was a graduate of Riceville
High School. She was a graduate of Riceville High School. She was a
graduate of Capri School of Cosmetology in Mason City, Iowa.

Survivors include two daughters, Tiffany Kruse of Riceville, Iowa and
Cassidy McCarthy of Owatonna; her father, Bill Eastman of Carpenter,
Iowa; two sisters, Susan Hegge of Rose Creek and Billi Jo Hummel of
Richardson, Texas and one brother, Jacob of Decorah, Iowa. Also surviving
is a special friend, Randy Christey of Owatonna.

Kelly was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn in 1997.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 18, 2000 at the Riceville
United Methodist Church with Rev. Edythe Hill officiating.

Interment will be in the Wayne Township Cemetery in McIntire, Iowa.

The Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.
