OBITUARY: Alpherna (Cummings) Edge, --1921, Mitchell Co., Iowa

                             Mrs. Joe Edge, Sr.

Mrs. Joe Edge, Sr., passed away at her home at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday
afternoon, following a sickness of several months, and although she has
been in a serious condition, the news of her death came as a shock to her
many friends and neighbors. 

Mrs. Edge has lived in Osage most of her life, and is the mother of four 
daughters and two sons. 

She was one of the best mothers and hardest working women Osage ever had,
and her passing is regretted by all. 

Funeral services are to be held on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock and
she will be laid to rest in the Osage cemetery. 



Note: She was Alpherna Cummings before her marriage.
