OBITUARY: Todd Joseph Duren, 1964-2000, Mitchell County, Iowa




                              Todd Duren

Todd Joseph Duren, 35, of Plattsburg, Missouri, and formerly of Stacyville,
Iowa, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at his home. Todd was born Oct. 13, 1964
in Osage, Iowa, the son of Joseph and Violet (Wilde) Duren. He attended
St. Ansgar schools. He worked at Brown Printing in Waseca, Minn., and as
a truck driver in the Twin Cities, Omaha, Neb. and Plattsburg, Mo.

He is survived by his mother, Violet Duren, Stacyville; brothers, Mark
Duren and Brian Duren of Stacyville; nephews, Shawn and Allen, Stacyville;
a special friend Christie, and her daughter Lindsee; maternal grandmother,
Leola Wilde, Osage.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Duren; paternal grandparents,
John and Mary (Weber) Duren; and maternal grandfather, Arthur Wilde.

Services were held on Saturday, May 13, at St. John's Catholic Church in
Johnsburg, Minn., with Fr. Gregory Leif officiating.  Interment was in the
Visitation Catholic Cemetery in Stacyville.
