OBITUARY: Lucy Ann (Stone) Kildee, 1844-, Mitchell County, Iowa OBITUARY Lucy Ann Stone was a daughter of the Rev. Jesse Stone, a minister in the Methodist Episcopal church. She was born at Cape Elizabeth, Maine, Sept. 4, 1844. In 1869 she came to Mitchell county, Iowa, to be with her sister Mrs Byron Leighton. In 1870 she was married to Michael Kildee and established their home on a farm in Cedar Township. Mr Kildee died in 1896. Mrs. Kildee continued on the farm until 1901 when she moved to her home on North Seventh St., where she lived until a month ago. During the past month she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Katherine Mapes, on Maple Street. Mrs. Kildee was an active member of the Methodist church.
