OBITUARY: Clarence August Kroneman, 1902-1964, Mitchell County, Iowa Clarence Kroneman of Mason City Dies Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran church for a former Mitchell County resident, Clarence A. Kroneman, 62, of Mason City, who died Aug. 19, at Mitchell County Memorial hospital in Osage. Mr. Kroneman had been ill four months and was confined to the hospital in Osage. Mr. Kroneman had been confined to the hospital intermittently since June 29. His death was caused by a malignancy. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery. Clarence August Kroneman was born Feb. 24, 1902, near Grafton in Mitchell County, the son of William F. and Meta Ruebe Kroneman. He grew to manhood in that area and attended the rural schools. As a young man he began farming, later moving to Mason City. His marriage to Adeline Bublitz took place Jan. 21, 1926, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church at Grafton. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Rock Creek Lutheran church by the Rev. Mr. Reinecke. (Press-News, August 27, 1964)
