OBITUARY: Nora Sullivan, -1936, Mitchell County, Iowa [Mitchell County Press- January 9,1936] Nora Sullivan Died Suddenly Wed'day of Heart Disease. Miss Nora Sullivan died suddenly at her home Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from a heart attack. She had been ill with flu for the past couple of weeks, but had been about her home most of the time. Miss Sullivan was born in Dubuque 73 years ago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Timothy Sullivan, and one of a family of eleven children. The family moved to Osage when she was a small child, and Mr. Sullivan was employed on the Illinois Central railroad for a time. Then he purchased a farm in the New Haven Vicinity, which has sinc been Miss Sullivan's home. Her parents passed away forty years ago, and all the other members of the family have preceded her with the exception of two sisters and a brother. Surviving is her sister, Mrs Kate Erwin, who has lived at the home since the death of her husband a number of years ago; Mike Sullivan of Osage; and Mrs. Annie Flynn, Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held Friday morning, January 10, at the St. Peter's church, New Haven, in charge of Rev. Father Gerleman, and burial will be made in the New Haven cemetery.
