OBITUARY: Lucille Lillian (Wagner) Johnson, 1936-2000, Mitchell County, Iowa Lucille Lillian Johnson Lucille Lillian Wagner Johnson, 63, of Carpenter, Iowa, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at her home in Carpenter. Lucille was born on Sept. 25, 1936 in Osage, to Earl B. and Aterna (Falk) Wagner. She was baptized in the Catholic faith in Osage and confirmed in Stacyville, Iowa. She graduated from Orchard High School in 1954. She was united in marriage to Dennis (Tiny) Johnson on Oct. 19, 1954 in Osage. Lucille was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with friends over a cup of coffee. She was active in the Carpenter Community Club. She, with her husband Tiny, had the Carpenter Clerking Auctioneering Service. She enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing and traveling. Lucille is survived by her husband, Dennis (Tiny) Johnson of Carpenter; five children, Cindy and Neal Fossey of St. Ansgar, Tim and Renae of Carpenter, Joe and Teresa of St. Ansgar, Robin and Kent (Spike) Bauers of Northwood, Christy and Dean Scott of Grafton; brothers, Vince Wagner and Dorothy, Paul Wagner and Minerva, Bob Wagner an Marlene, all of Osage; sister, Delores Kroneman and Glenn of Carpenter and Evelyn Gilson of Lamont, Iowa; and brother-in-law, Donald Johnson and Doris of Northwood. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy; parents, Earl and Aterna Wagner; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Amanda and Enge Johnson; and nephew Michael Wagner of Osage. Funeral services were on Thursday, July 6th, at the St.Ansgar Catholic Church in St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Joseph Schneider officiating. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Osage, Iowa.
