OBITUARY: Mary (Statts) Weaver, 1861-1911, Mitchell Co., Iowa

                            Mrs. George Weaver

                 Born August 3, 1861 - Died April 12, 1911

Mrs. George Weaver better known to the older residents of Osage, as Miss
Mary Statts, was born in Binghampton, N.Y., on August 3, 1963, and passed
away at her home in Two Harbors, Minnesota, on April 12, 1911.

When quite young her family came to Osage and here she grew to womanhood.
On December 5, 1885, she was married to Mr. George Weaver at Fargo, N.D.
To this union three children were born, two daughters and one son who
survive.  Mr. Weaver passed away on May 23, 1996.  She also leaves a sister
to mourn her loss.

For the past twenty-one years Mrs. Weaver's home has been at Two Harbors,
Minnesota, where she passed away as stated above.  The body was brought
to Osage for internment and the funeral was held here on Friday, April
14th., conducted by Rev. F. W. Court, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal
Church.
