St. Ansgar Enterprise June 1957
Funeral services for Frederick Reinhold Dreher, 88, who died at a nursing home 
in Mason City Tuesday, June 4, 1957, were held Saturday, June 8, at the St. 
Ansgar Methodist church with Rev. Richard L. Pearson officiating.
Frederick Reinhold Dreher was born July 25, 1969, in Rock township, Mitchell 
county.  He was married to Mary Ellen Mernaugh in Chicago, Illinois, June 18, 
1892.  Two children were born to them: a son, Albert C. Dreher of Omaha, 
Nebraska, and a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Emma Hazel)Wilmot of Osage.
Mr. Dreher spent most of his life in the St. Ansgar area where he was engaged 
in farming and operated a retail store.  He is survived by his son and 
daughter, 13 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.  One grandson, Frank 
Albert Wilmot, preceded him in death.
Burial was in the St. Ansgar City Cemetery with the Rev. Pearson in charge of 
the committal services.
