St. Ansgar Enterprise Jan. 1969
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Sheumaker, 79, were held Friday, Dec. 27 at the 
First Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar.  The Rev. Don Comnick, pastor, was in 
charge and burial was in the Deer Creek Cemetery near Carpenter.
Mrs. Sheumaker died after a lingering illness at the Good Samaritan Center in 
St. Ansgar, Dec. 23, 1968.
Anna Marie Gilbertson was born June 22, 1889 in Carpenter, the daughter of 
Edwin G. and Betsy Gilbertson.  She was baptized and confirmed at Deer Creek 
Lutheran church.
She was united in marriage with Edward Dreher in March 1908.  He died in 
1944.  In 1952 she was married to Rupert Sheumaker.
Her survivors include two sisters, Mrs. L. R. Ferrington of Blooming Prairie, 
Minn., and Mrs. E. B. Olson of Crecso, several nieces and cousins.
