St. Ansgar IA Enterprise - October 27, 1926
   Miss Marie Denning, daughter of Hiram Denning, of Waukon, IA and Arthur 
Hansen, son of Mr. & Mrs. Nis Hansen of St. Ansgar, were married Monday 
afternoon, October 25th, at 4 o'clock at Cresco, Iowa.  The Rev. Engel, pastor 
of the Congregational church at Cresco, performed the ceremony at the church 
parsonage.  Mr. & Mrs. Hansen were attended by the bride's cousins: Mr. & Mrs. 
Leslie Rush of Cresco.
   Following the ceremony, the young couple came to St. Ansgar where they will 
make their home on the farm of the groom's father, and will take over the 
management of the farm the coming year.
   Mrs. Hansen has been in the teaching profession for 6 years, having first 
taught at Waukon for 3 years and then the past 3 years she has built up a fine 
frienship among the people of the community as teacher in the Spring Valley 
school
   Mr. Hansen attended the St. Ansgar high school and has been his father's 
reliable assistant on the home farm since graduation.  The community extends 
to them their best wishes for a happy and prosperous voyage thru life.
