G. Goplerud of Otranto township, and Mr. John J.Uzlik of Austin, MN. They were married by the Rev. T. P. Solem, pastor of the Norwegian Lutheran church at Osage. The ceremony was performed at the parsonage and the witnesses were Betty Murphy and George Hiese of Austin. The bride's gown was copper colored stain faced crepe and she carried a bouquet of carnations. After the ceremony the bridal party drove to the home of the bride's parents, where a three course wedding dinner was served by Miss Esther Nelson, the dining room being decorated with chrysanthemums. Mrs. Uzlik, whose home is northwest of town, is a very charming young lady and is well known in St. Ansgar, where she has many friends. The last year she has been taking nurse's training in St. Olaf Hospital at Austin, MN. Mr. Uzlik, whose home has always been in Austin, is a stranger to most of our people, but he is a very fine appearing young man. For some time he has been in charge of the bulk station of the Manhattan Oil Company at Grand Meadow, MN and there they will make their home.
