J. Krahenbuhl of Stacyville and William J. Wirth, son of Mr. & Mrs. John Wirth, St. Ansgar, IA, took place at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the First Lutheran church of St. Ansgar, IA. The Rev. O. A. Langehough performed the ceremony. The bride wore a white lace redingote with a train over satin and carried a bouquet of Talisman roses and pom pom chrysanthemums. Her attendant, Miss Alice Wirth, sister of the bridegroom, wore an aqua blue lace redingote over satin and carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Roscoe Krahenbuhl, brother of the bride, was best man. Preceding the ceremony, Jack Welsh of Mason City sang "Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life", accompanied by Miss Verna Paulius of Hampton. Both Mr. & Mrs. Wirth graduated from St. Ansgar high school. Mrs. Wirth is a graduate of Hamilton's Business College, Mason City and has since been employed as a secretary in the offices of Deckers at Mason City. Mr. Wirth was graduated from Iowa State College at Ames and is employed by the Allis Chalmers company of West Allis, Wisconsin. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents at six o'clock. A three course dinner was served to 30 guests by the waitresses: Pauline Thompson, Vern Beyer, Thelma Smesrud, Mildred Peterson, Dorothy Jean Hegland. Between courses, Jack Welsh, sang "I Love You Truly" and Marjorie Wirth played a piano solo. Immediately after the reception, the couple left for a short trip through northern Minnesota and Wisconsin after which they will be at home at West Allis, Wisconsin. Guests from out of town were: Mr. & Mrs. William Kehm and son Alvin; Mr. & Mrs. C. Kehm, all of Mendota, Illinois; Chris Kehm and sons, Bob and Tom of Cedar Rapids; Mr. & Mrs. Frank Krahenbuhl, Mr. & Mrs. Warren Krnock of Rochelle, Illinois; Jack Welsh of Mason City; Miss Verna Paullus of Hampton; Mr. & Mrs. Charles Ellman of Queens Village, New York.
